Safer gambling
Blackjack involves a risk of losing money. A strategy chart may improve decisions under its stated rules, but it cannot guarantee a win or recover losses.
Keep limits separate from strategy
Decide what you can afford to spend and how long to play before starting. Include the cost of doubles and splits. Stop when you reach either limit; do not increase stakes to chase a loss, borrow to play or use money needed for essentials.
If gambling is causing stress or feels hard to control, taking a break and speaking to someone can help. You do not need to wait until a problem feels severe.
